Once again, an American president believes that Israel giving up land will bring peace to the Middle East. True to form, Hamas is doing everything possible to violate its commitment to the ceasefire. All hostages—including those tragically murdered in captivity—were supposed to be released two weeks ago.
President Trump, his patience wearing thin, has once again threatened Hamas. On the surface, it may seem that he is losing control of the deal, but perhaps this is a calculated move—similar to his approach toward Iran before authorizing the B-2 bomber strikes.
We are grateful to report that the last of the living hostages have now returned home after completing their initial medical assessments and rehabilitation. Their physical and emotional recovery will be a long journey. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.
