A direct confrontation between Israel and Turkey may have come far closer than many realize as a strike on a Syrian airbase exposed rapidly escalating tensions between the two regional powers.
Israel stopped a Turkish invasion avoiding full war, for now. Israel just attacked an airbase in Syria, near the Turkish border. As it turns out, Turkey was on the verge of moving their troops into the airbase, which is why Israel did the strike.
Neither Turkey nor Syria were warned by Israel in advance, and as we’ll go into, a direct hot conflict between Israel and Turkey was barely avoided.
This comes as official reports surface revealing that Syria in fact possesses dangerous nuclear material, and both Turkey and Syria, move closer in their relations with Pakistan. Ben Hilton breaks it down for you on today’s video.
