If you’ve ever watched The Israel Guys on YouTube or followed their updates online, you might have asked: Are The Israel Guys Christian?
The answer is yes—but their story goes far deeper than that. It’s a story of friendship between Christians and Jews, of prophecy fulfilled, and of real people standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel through faith and action.
From Growing Tomatoes in Tennessee to the Mountains of Samaria
It all began in 2004, when Tommy Waller, a farmer from Tennessee, met Nir Lavi, a Jewish vintner and pioneer, in a vineyard high on the mountains of Samaria. Nir opened his Bible to Jeremiah 31:5:
“You shall again plant vineyards on the mountains of Samaria.”
Tommy realized he was standing in the middle of prophecy coming to life. That single moment of awe sparked a friendship—and a movement—that would transform the way Christians connect with Israel forever.

The Birth of HaYovel: Christians Serving in Israel’s Heartland
In 2007, Tommy and his wife Sherri founded HaYovel, a non-profit that gave Christians a way to physically serve and help small communities in Israel by pruning, planting, and harvesting in the vineyards of Judea and Samaria.
Over the next 15 years, more than 3,000 volunteers from 32 nations came to Israel through HaYovel—helping over 50 small farms grow and thrive.
These weren’t mission trips—they were simple acts of friendship and faith, standing with the Jewish people and blessing the land of Israel in practical ways.

From the Vineyards to the Airwaves
As HaYovel grew, the team noticed a troubling trend: false narratives about Israel spreading through the media. In response, they launched The Joshua & Caleb Report in 2013—a television show that highlighted Israel’s pioneers, heroes, and families returning to the land of their forefathers.
Over four seasons, the show reached Christian audiences around the world, telling Israel’s story through a biblical lens.
By 2018, the show transitioned into a podcast—and in 2021, it evolved into something bigger: The Israel Guys.

The Israel Guys: Faith in Action and Media
In August 2021, The Joshua & Caleb Report and The Heartland Report merged to become The Israel Guys, a unified pro-Israel media platform with the goal of standing with Israel through media and action.
Their content expanded rapidly—from studio interviews and news analysis to on-location adventure reports filmed across Judea and Samaria. Their YouTube channel grew to hundreds of thousands of subscribers, reaching millions with bold, faith-based reporting.

Are The Israel Guys Christian? What Do They Believe?
So, are The Israel Guys Christian? Absolutely.
Their faith forms the foundation of everything they do—but their mission isn’t about conversion or religious debate.
The Israel Guys believe:
- The Bible is true and relevant today.
- The Jewish people’s return to their homeland is a fulfillment of prophecy.
- Christians have a biblical responsibility to bless and stand with Israel.
Their Christian faith drives them to serve, support, and speak up for Israel in love and truth.

Standing with Israel in Times of War
When war broke out on October 7, 2023, The Israel Guys were already on the ground in Israel. They immediately launched Operation Ittai, a campaign providing security vests, flashlights, and surveillance systems to vulnerable communities across the country.
Their dedication led to national recognition—culminating in the Voices of Iron Award presented by Israel’s Knesset in January 2025, honoring their unwavering advocacy during the war.

Are The Israel Guys Christian / Jewish Bridge-Builders?
The Israel Guys aren’t just content creators—they’re bridge-builders.
They bring together Christians and Jews around a shared love for the land of Israel and a shared belief in the promises of Scripture.
Through media, volunteerism, and boots-on-the-ground action, they’re helping rewrite the global narrative about Israel—one vineyard, one video, and one act of service at a time.
