20 Ships Attacked in the Strait of Hormuz and Trump Signals the End of NATO?

Attacks on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz are choking Europe’s oil supply, yet NATO allies are blocking U.S. operations against Iran. As tensions rise, Trump signals he may be done with NATO altogether. Ben Hilton breaks down the implications.

20 Ships have been attacked in the strait of Hormuz. And right now, European countries are struggling to find oil. As a result the EU has issued a statement asking people to work from home, drive and fly less, and in general consume less energy.

But, instead of joining America in opening up the strait to regain their oil supply, one by one European countries have been blocking the United States from using their airfields in attacks against Iran. And this doesn’t just apply to oil, NATO countries are actively blocking our American operations to destroy Iran’s missile capabilities, missile capabilities that threaten, you guessed it, NATO. And President Trump is signaling he just might be done with NATO altogether.

Ben Hilton breaks it down for you.
