The Only Recognized Victims in This Conflict Are Terrorists

Have you seen or heard about atrocities taking place in the Gaza Strip by Israel? How about the time period leading up to it? It’s safe to assume that the answer is yes for you personally, just as the answer is yes for the masses around the world. This could be understood as: Israel is committing atrocities against Gaza and the media is reporting it. Or it could be understood as something entirely different: the media is following their historical trend of villainizing the Jewish people despite the fact that the Jewish people themselves are the actual victims.

Israel has a long history of being projected as the “bad guy” in the vast majority of history. This projection has only been amplified since the beginning of its statehood in 1948. Whether it’s the number of casualties on either side, the atrocities committed against either party, the humanitarian issues displayed, or the war crimes committed, Israel is nearly always put under fire by the international community.

How Many People Have Been Killed in This Conflict?

When it comes to the reports coming out of the Gaza Strip, one of the major issues of a territory being run by a terrorist organization is that you can never trust their statistics especially when it relates to the number of those killed. Despite some governments, like the US and Israel, casting doubts on the Gaza Health Ministry’s death count, groups like the UN continue to cite it as a valid source of information.

Israel takes a far more dependable approach to reporting fatalities. After the atrocities took place on October 7, 2023, Israel made an estimation of 1,400 deaths. Recently, according to the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, Israel has revised this estimation explaining that the “mutilation” of these corpses was so extreme they weren’t able to initially identify who the victims were.

A quote by the CEO of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, Mark Dubowitz, sums up the contrast of the two sources like this:

“Unlike Hamas, which rushes to issue inflated casualty counts in Gaza to an ever-gullible international press corps, Israel was slow to publish the extent of the October 7th carnage. First we heard of dozens killed, then hundreds, then many hundreds. This was in keeping with Israel’s respect for victims’ privacy, for religious decency and for military notification regulations. Now the Israelis, at the height of a war that is as much about international opinion as it is about defeating evil, have had the decency to set the record straight. They deserve only praise for that.”

How Bad Was the Attack on October 7th?

The world saw the atrocities enacted by Hamas and Gaza citizens during the October 7th attack by the hands of the very perpetrators who livestreamed the rape, murder, maiming, and kidnapping of innocent civilians. There is an excessive amount of video evidence that is too barbaric for viewing that proves this type of unwarranted, evil violence is exactly what many Hamas soldiers enacted against innocent civilians in multiple towns near the Gaza border of Israel. This fact is not acknowledged by the international community to the degree that the “genocidal Israel” narrative is.

To put into perspective how disastrous this attack was in Israel, here’s a widely known event in history to reference it to. On September 11, 2001, the Twin Towers in New York were struck by terrorists. This attack claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 American citizens. This day is still held in respect across America to honor the lives of these innocent civilians. The population of America in 2001 was 285 million people. Comparatively, the population of Israel in 2023 was approximately 9,175,000. The October 7th attack was believed to have claimed the lives of 1,400 innocent Israelis for over a month, so this number will be our reference. If this tragedy had occurred in the United States in 2001, the tragedy that took place 22 years ago wouldn’t have claimed the lives of 3,000 people, but instead would have claimed the lives of approximately 43,600 people.

Despite these numbers and the obvious proof that Hamas’s intention was to murder, kidnap, and enact horrors upon as many men, women, and children as possible, in an interview with the BBC, Hamas leaders tried to convince the public that “women, children, and civilians” were exempt from their attack. It seems as though the perpetrators didn’t receive the message to hide this fact when they live streamed the attack against the civilians.

  • I only listen to the Bible concerning Israel. I will always stand for Israel. NOW and FOREVER 🇮🇱🙏

  • I stand on the word of God I stand with Israel. The media should be ashamed of themselves. And they need to remember this Jesus is coming back very soon and they will all stand to be judged my God almighty. As we all will. But the atrocities that they have advertently or inadvertently cause. Again I stand with Israel. I pray that Jesus does come back very soon. I know that I must atone for my sins. They also must have atone for theirs. God bless Israel and her people. God bless the USA. We need to bring Jesus back to the USA because the powers that be have been trying to extinguish his light which will never happen. Just like Hamas is trying to extinguish the light of Jesus in Israel that will never happen. God bless Israel amen

  • I love and stand with Israel, now and always. May the God of Israel show his Might and Power and bring justice to this evil in our world soon! Amen
