This is When Our Commitment to Standing With Israel is Tested

Once again this past Friday, the enemies of God raised their heads, murdering two sisters and their mother in Israel’s Heartland via a shooting attack on their car in the Jordan Valley. They were murdered simply for one reason: they are Jews who live in the land of Israel.

The question for us as Christian Zionists is this: does it matter if the Jewish people live in the land of Israel – Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem, or elsewhere? Or is this just another war that’s no different than the tribal wars of Africa?

I’ve been doing a study on the positive prophecies in the Bible. Too often we are attracted to and focus on the negative, especially when it comes to biblical prophecy. When reading positive prophecies, however, one thing is clear: God loves Israel and the Jewish people. The nations are often offended by His choosing, not realizing that they, too, could come and experience that same choosing by standing with His people. They also don’t realize that the nations who attack Israel, or just stand by and do nothing, will be judged by God. The Bible is very clear: God will fight for Israel and deliver her. My personal choice is to stand with God and fight with Israel.

I first came to Israel in 2005 and since then I’ve seen ups and downs in the security situation here. In 2010 I experienced it first-hand when local Arab teenage terrorists came to the vineyard we were pruning in and began to throw rocks at us. At first they didn’t know what to do with us because we weren’t the Jewish settlers they were expecting to find. Security showed up pretty quickly and dispersed the terrorists. Thank God, none of our volunteers were seriously injured.

An interesting thing took place the next day: The local communities and farmers were shocked when we showed up to work in the vineyard again. This support was different from any international Christian support they had seen before. The support from Christians they had seen in the past was the support of fair-weather friends. When things are going well we stand and support the Jewish communities, but when times are tough (even though we still wave the flag in support), we often decide it is too dangerous to physically come to the land. Our message is something like, “We will see you again when things get better, but you and your families are doing great work. Keep it up”!

The Jewish people have been in great danger in almost every generation, but in every generation there have been a few God-fearing Christian Zionists who have stood and said, “No! This war is against God and His chosen people and I will not stand by silently.”

Once again we are experiencing tour group after tour group of “fair-weather” friends of Israel canceling their trips. Don’t get me wrong. There is a war happening – shots are being fired, rocks are being thrown, and people are getting hurt. However, this is when Israel and the farmers on the front lines need you more than ever.

This is a war on God and His choosing.

Don’t be afraid to come to Israel, and don’t be a fair-weather friend of God. Stand with His choosing.

I felt sick when I saw how the left fascists faced reality. Israel is on the cusp of fighting for its life and those leftists were concerned with getting and maintaining power just like the fascists in the usa, packing in their great country for power. BIDET HAS NO REAL IDEA OF WHAT HE’S DONE EVEN TO ISRAEL . I HOPE THE DEVIL IS WAITING FOR HIM AS THAT’S WHERE HE BELONGS. BIBI IS TRYING HIS BEST TO MAKE THINGS GOOD BUT THE OPPOSITION IS WORKING IN AN OPPPOSITE MANNER. ISRAEL HAS A TERRIBLE FIGHT ON IT’S HANDS BOTH FROM WITHIN AND WITHOUT. MAY HASHEM SAVE ISRAEL FOR THE GOODD OF MANKIND.

Consider the words of the prophet Haggai.”Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘This people says, “The time has not come, [even] the time for the house of the LORD to be rebuilt.”‘”

    – Haggai 1:2

When is the time to build the Temple? When man says it is safe or when God commands it to be done. Consider Haggai 2, “Speak to Zerubbabel governor of Judah, saying, ‘I am going to shake the heavens and the earth. ‘I will overthrow the thrones of kingdoms and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the nations; and I will overthrow the chariots and their riders, and the horses and their riders will go down, everyone by the sword of another.’
    – Haggai 2:21-22

God declares that if Israel acts in faith to build His Temple, then he will overthrow Israel’s enemies and even cause them to fight amongst themselves.

How about the plight of the Palestinian Christians whose houses were being bulldozed and demolished by the illegal Zionist settlers? How about the farms of the Palestinian Christians that are being taken by force by the Zionist settlers? Did YHWH God give these Zionists to permission to treat the followers of Jesus this way?

Where did you get such “information” from? Never heard of such a thing. This is definitely FAKE news. Have you ever heard that the Muslim Palestinians have almost cleaned Bethlehem from Christians? Certainly not the “settlers”.

First hand information, Doris. I go to Israel EVERY YEAR. Of course you will never hear of this information because no Western Media wants to cover this and talk to local Palestinian priests and pastors. By the way, do you even know that Palestinian Christians exists? There used to be between 10% to 12% Palestinian Christians in the region but because of the oppression from the Zionist movement, there’s less than 2% of them left. Give me a favor before you call it, “Fake News”, when you have a chance to go to Bethlehem and other Palestinian territories in Israel, make time to talk to a local priest or pastor and ask them if what I said is true or not.

I pray for Israel’s peace , salvation & protection every day. I have, for several years.
    I love Yehivag’s people & land💖
If I could afford to go there,I would, but I would not want to return to Canada!
I am no spring chicken, but I would hope a spot could be found for me to volunteer somewhere. Even caring for people, gardens in the parks …something.
    Every little bit counts, yes?
As for the terrorists that shot and killed the mom & her 2 daughters, they are cowards of the worst sort!
    Targeting UNARMED women !
Low lifes!😠 I would love to see them try and do the same to men of equal strength & armed with weapons.
A very warm place is awaiting their souls.

Well they tried it recently in the town of Hawara, a Palestinian city where Jewish travelers have no choice to pass through for certain ways. They shot at one car, but the guy they aimed at was a Marines veteran, and although he was hit he managed to pull his pistol and shoot the assailant. The attacker was hit and left a blood trail leading to his arrest.

  6. I am unable to visit Israel due to financial circumstances, but stand with Israel and the Jewish people. I love you and agree that Jerusalem and Isra belongs to the Jews. You are God’s Chosen People! Though I cannot be there physically, please know that I am praying for the peace of Jerusalem and Israel. Also for Jews world wide.

I once spoke to a Jewish lady on a plane from Hong Kong to Tel Aviv in 2012. I told her that God has a special angel that looks after Israel. She did not know that.
