This past Wednesday, November 30th, the United Nations proved to the world that they stand against the promises of God by voting in favor of holding a commemorative event to honor the “catastrophe” of the founding of the State of Israel.
Every year on Israel’s Independence Day, which is usually sometime in May, the Palestinians hold an event to remember the Nakba, or “catastrophe” of Israel’s founding. Violent riots and protests are typically the way they commemorate this day.
But what is this Nakba day? According to Wikipedia, it was, “The destruction of Palestinian society and homeland in 1948, and the permanent displacement of a majority of the Palestinian Arabs. The term is also used to describe the ongoing persecution, displacement, and occupation of the Palestinians, both in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip, as well as in Palestinian refugee camps throughout the region.” What the Palestinians are mourning on this day, however, is not the displacement of their people, which did not happen, but ultimately the idea of the Jewish people having a land they can call their own.
So, the United Nations just voted in favor of holding an event that commemorates this catastrophe every year, alongside Israel’s Independence Day. Ninety countries voted in favor of this resolution, 30 against, and 47 abstained. Thankfully, the United States, along with the United Kingdom and Canada, voted against this outrageous idea. What the United Nations is basically saying is that the founding of the State of Israel was a catastrophe and that they now have no right to exist.
Just hours before the vote, Israel’s ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, presented a picture to the UN General Assembly displaying the real Nakba as he called it, that is, the expulsion of hundreds of thousands of Jews from Muslim countries all around the world. He said, “Two days after Israel’s establishment, this was the headline in the New York Times. It did not read, ‘Arabs in Grave Danger in all Jewish Lands.’ It read, ‘Jews in Grave Danger in all Moslem Lands.’ The Arab countries and Iran immediately began to expel the Jews living throughout the Middle East and North Africa…hundreds of thousands of Jewish families were uprooted from their homes, robbed of their valuables and property, and forcefully cast out of the countries where they lived for millennia…This is the true Nakba. This is the disaster carried out against the Jewish people, and this is the disaster that this body has ignored for decades. Look at this family that was expelled. Stop ignoring the Jewish Nakba! Stop ignoring the Jewish Nakba!”
What Gilad Erdan said is absolutely correct. Why has the UN chosen to completely ignore the expulsion of hundreds of thousands of Jews from Muslim countries and instead have chosen to mark the founding of Israel as a catastrophe? There is one answer, simple Jew hatred.
Anti-semitism is on the rise; Kanye West was just once again banned from Twitter for saying that he “likes Hitler.” In 2022 alone, the UN passed 15 resolutions against Israel while only passing 13 against the entire rest of the world. Now, the UN is essentially saying that the nation of Israel has no right to exist by remembering the “catastrophe” of the founding of Israel.
With Jew hatred on the rise, which is just the undisguised definition for anti-semitism, it is now more important than ever for us as Christians and Israel-lovers to stand up and show our support for the nation of Israel. The God of Israel will not tolerate those who stand against His chosen people.
God said ” Those who bless you will I bless.
Those who curse you will I curse

Well, 1st there is no “Palestinian” people or “homeland”; 2nd that land was “deeded” to the children of Israel, by the Owner, in perpetuity (forever), not tothe children of Ishmael, Keturah, or Esau. The outcasts from other Arab Myslim nations, calling themselves “Palestinians” were given the land EAST of the Jordan in which to establish their home, but got themselves kicked out oft here too, for their violent, hateful ways. They are not “displaced”, except when they choose to be. Israelis are not perfect, any more than the rest of humanity; the Lord well knows that; but since declaring statehood in mid-May of ’48, they have treated the Arab Muslims living in their land far better than those whiners have deserved, even affording them equal citizenship and seats in the Knesset. But Israel was not a “catastrophe”; it was the fulfillment of prophecy, among many others coming to pass in these “last days”. The only “catastrophe” attached has been the vile reactions from this evil, sin-filled, world to the presence & reality of the Promised Land, because THEIR master, Satan, knows it signals how short his time is! Israel has given more to this world than all her Muslim neighbors combined have done, on many levels.
Sad to hear and what is really happening in the corridors of the United Nations. We need a conference for Israel in the Pacific Islanders to stand in solidarity with the nation of Israel. Please advise how we organize this conference for Israel?
Please advise. A concern Citizen of Israel on the Pacific

@Sandra Kee Smith…WELL SAID!!
Correction:. “Lee”…Sandra Lee Smith
Amen to that.
Sandra Lee Smith, I couldn’t agree more. One thing I would add is that in my opinion it is the Arabs, (Palestinians) who are the occupiers. After the 6 Day War, Israel even gave up control; of the Temple Mount as a gesture of peace to the Arabs.
I agree. Why would anyone try to stand against God’s chosen people or their homeland?
It is Satan that is driving this world and the governments just as the bible tells us it would be so keep your faith as GOD keeps his word through JESUS YESHUA AMEN
