Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu becomes the first foreign leader to be invited to the White House during Trump’s presidency, signaling the close relationship between the U.S. and Israel.

During Netanyahu’s visit, and in a bold move, Trump announced that the U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, sparking a range of reactions, including a rejection from Saudi Arabia, which complicates the already tense dynamics in the Middle East.

  • Don’t think that Saudi Arabia won’t negotiate. The US has more power than people realize because we’ve been lead by people who wanted to be liked instead of respected. Egypt will negotiate. I do wonder about the boat that hit the Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier. The aircraft carrier was in place to fend off an Egyptian attack on Israel.
