There is a lot of speculation on why there has not yet been a hostage deal between Hamas and Israel. Most people just blame Israel for the continuing war.
In a recent interview with the NYT, the outgoing US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken just revealed the crazy and unexpected reason why the hostage deal has FAILED.
